Completely unnecessary for anyone to be playing their last home game of the season on a Monday night. Regardless of the title race, itβs a day of celebration & togetherness, when the players get to come round with their family & say thank you to the fans & vice versa.

I ran the London Marathon last week. I've tried to get in for over ten years, so I'm really pleased. It's the best and worst thing I've ever done. Ooh, and my girlfriend made me this sign.

At which point do we finally move past commentators apologising for swearing at live football, and accept that those with delicate ears are obviously doing so at their own risk? Saying sorry on behalf of players when the camera's thrust into the midst of their pre-match team talk π

Liverpool have been awarded *at least* twice the number of penalties as 18 other Premier League teams this season: 9 - Liverpool 7 - Bournemouth 4 - Brentford, Fulham, Newcastle 3 (or fewer) - 15 teams

Great to kick off the new year with an away win. I remember that cold, grey NYD defeat at Southampton about eight years ago which left quite a different taste.
