ICE zip-tying and detaining children isn’t “enforcement,” it’s *state cruelty.* The 8th Amendment prohibits “cruel and unusual punishment.” That protection extends through the 5th & 14th to all human beings on U.S. soil. This is unconstitutional, unlawful, and morally depraved. FULL STOP. 🆘🇺🇸

Five days ago, an ICE agent shoved a woman asking questions about the detention of her husband. Today they attacked two journalists. We cannot accept or normalize what has now become routine violence at 26 Federal Plaza. It has no place in our city.

They all seem very comfortable with unprovoked violence against women.

This is not meant to be a defense of political violence, but it does seem to me that violent acts are actually a somewhat reasonable human response to a secret police force that is actively abducting people off the streets and sending them to interment camps indefinitely with no due process.
