also pl is still being worked on. designing a source-based package management system that is flexible enough for building every possible package is difficult i am almost done with the design part tho, and all i need to do now is write build scripts and prop files and then i'll be able to test it

it was the compiler. the compiler fails the conftests because of defaulting to c23 and they didn't think to test compiling *one of its main dependencies* i am so done kinda tempted to drop gcc support. can't really do that tho, gcc targets some arches that llvm doesn't

update on pl stuff: i have gotten the current impl of the ports system to run, but it has not been throughly tested. i am still figuring out the api, but i think i have it mostly fleshed out testing had to be cut short due to gcc 15.2.1 breaking compilation on 0.11.2 (fails conftests on gmp)
