well I’m back on the blanket! obviously my mom did not receive it in time for Xmas but she has seen it in progress. she said I’ll finish it when I finish it, & then reminded me that she has yet to complete a cross-stitch project she started as a wedding gift for me. (my wedding was 3 years ago 🤣)

started a deep-dive tarot project last month. self-structured. I’ve been reading cards for a very long time but never went past surface, never got super deep into the lore, history, and relationship of the cards to each other/other systems.

I have laryngitis for the first time in like 7 years & the only thing I can do about it is Not Talk which is Not My Strong Suit.

Dear tarot deck designers: please make the cute designs on the backs of your cards symmetrical both horizontally & vertically. I don’t want to know that the card is reversed until I flip it over. Preserve the mystery. No spoilers. I know many people don’t read reversals anymore but I do! 😭

Someone asked me about when I lived in New Orleans, what my favorite thing about it was. I said it was that I could walk everywhere when I lived there. This man looked at me and said “well… not everywhere.”
