I'm a little sad that neither The Super Live, Crystal, nor the All-Color edition of the manga gave Ikuko bright lilac pink hair. I love the implication that Chibiusa takes after her maternal grandmother (a relationship that's bizarrely never explicitly acknowledged in any version of the series).

I really wish there were fansubs of the various Sailor Moon mascot shows. They're such a fascinating bit of ephemera. It sounds like one of the attacks Sailor Moon uses in this one is called "Sailor Hurricane."

I'm always surprised that Ami x Umino isn't a more popular pairing. Not that I personally ship them, but they have a lot in common and thus seem like a natural match. (Naru x Umino has always felt a little too 'pair the spares' for my taste.)

I still don't get why Galaxia killed Mamoru in the anime. They went out of their way to change the Golden Crystal so it wasn't Mamoru's, so she obviously wasn't targeting his canonically non-existent Sailor Crystal.

Sailor Moon Crystal would have turned out so much better had they done 12 episodes for each volume of the kanzenban instead of one episode for each chapter. The manga was always meant to be complemented by the '90s anime; it's not a complete, standalone narrative. It needs more space to breathe!
