Shustoke Res - Little Tern? at the east end. Small, quiet, restless flickering flight style, constantly dipping to the water. The question mark is observer unfamiliarity with the species, but I don't know what else it can be.

Last birding today on Shetland (fly off early morning) and amazing views of a Great Grey Shrike eating a mouse! Shetland ticks in last few days - Hoopoe, Great White Egret and Sooty Shearwater. No lifers but a trip list of 110 with many nice birds 😀

The second 5 days have been quieter but with WW Scoter, Lesser Scaup and Greenish Warbler as Shetland ticks. Also some interesting Lesser Whitethroats and a self-found LEO (Below).

First 5 days in Shetland has certainly produced - PG Tips, Paddyfield and Nightjar (below) being Shetland ticks!
