The election results are in: 100% of Brady-endorsed candidates in NJ and VA won their races last night. The message is clear: voters want leaders who will stand up to gun violence and put safety first.

We have now reached the longest government shutdown in American history (the top 2, both under Trump.) Every day that the MAGA shutdown continues is another day that public safety is at risk from a largely unregulated gun industry. Voters on Tuesday were clear: it’s time for the cruelty to end.

Last night, we elected dozens of gun violence prevention champions committed to creating a safer America. These wins will mean hundreds of thousands of American families will be safer from gun violence in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods. Now, let's keep up this momentum for 2026.

We can’t ignore the connection: chronic health issues from aircraft maintenance + stigma + easy firearm access = devastating suicide risk. The Department of Defense must lead with support and prevention-focused and people-first policies.

ICE’s taxpayer funded weapons spending is up 700% under Trump, while 80% of ATF agents have been diverted from gun industry enforcement to chase his immigration crusade. These resources should be used to protect Americans. Instead, they are making us less safe.

American taxpayers are the number one purchaser of firearms. That’s why Brady is driving procurement reform efforts nationwide, to ensure our tax dollars aren’t fueling the gun industry’s profits. They also shouldn’t be funding agencies that turn those weapons on our neighbors.

A man was shot in the neck over a McDonald’s drive-thru delay. The police response? Making puns. Gun violence isn’t a joke. It’s a national emergency. When law enforcement makes a joke about it, you see just how deeply denial runs.

Illegal guns and hungry kids don’t wait for politics. But the Trump-Sears-Miyares shutdown is putting lives on the line — stalling ATF enforcement, flooding our streets with guns, & threatening food security for 830,000 Virginians. Vote for leaders who put Virginians first, not Trump’s cruelty.

Millions turned out peacefully on Saturday for No Kings protests nationwide. 2 armed self-identified Trump supporters tried to intimidate protesters and were arrested. Intimidation isn’t freedom. This is what happens when political violence is normalized and it has to stop.

Our leader is busy posting videos of himself desecrating the country he swore to serve. Meanwhile, kids are quite literally dying from gun violence at horrific rates. Only one of these gets his attention, and the attention of his loyal flunkies in Congress.
