JFC the surveillance is EVERYWHERE. I’m at the airport for my new job and I immediately got a text notification about roaming plans from my cell provider even though I have most of my location information turned off. This is the shittiest timeline.

I started a new job downtown that starts much earlier than my old one and also involves a multi block walk in the area. There’s a significant number of unhoused people there, and today I came across a couple who were doing something I’d never seen before.

I haven't really been following this, but this post has brought up an Important Question I've been meaning to ask. How do you pronounce the "i" in Flo Rida? Is it "ih," "eye" or "ee?" Like, is it pronounced like the state, or like it's meant to be "rider/ridah" or the most random third option ever?

I wonder who came up with the expression "silly goose." Geese in my experience are not so much silly as they are constantly angry and often violent. Then again, I live in Canada. Are English geese inherently sillier than your average Canada Goose?
