Just heard we lost a holocaust survivor yesterday. Anyone lost to terrorism (and any and all gun violence for that matter) is one person too many. But that loss in particular weighs on my heart.

Hard to believe that as of tomorrow it will be 11 years since I started writing Jaye Avenheart's story. 11 years since the beginnings of "The Reflections Saga." 11 years since I began to explore the history of the most broken, complicated queer woman I have ever written. #writingcommunity 🌈📚♠️

in many cases, a lot of het works are literally "we put a boy and a girl together in this narrative so therefore they must kiss" with none of the work going into proving to the reader that they should kiss it's a literal skill issue

My favourite side character in Guardian is Birch. Birch is a Spirit who went undercover to help the Fates judge Persephone's suitability to become Keeper. Birch is a joy to write. A trickster at heart, she never takes no for an answer and is always stealing things to give to Persephone. #GhostPit
