And done with #FireEmblem: the Sacred Stones. Somewhat surprisingly I think I liked that better than the Blazing Blade, overall. The two Lords and initial units are whatever™ but it arguably gets better over time rather than stagnating midway through the campaign.

When I say I wish the next Zelda game should be more oldschool again I'm not just talking about weapons that last more than 3 seconds, actual background music or worlds that are more interesting than a dull sandbox, I'm talking about bad wigs and dance battles. Obviously.

And that's #FireEmblem The Blazing Blade done* You'd think as someone who started playing these games in the 3D era (PoR) the GBA titles would just look old fashioned to me but in all honesty these pixel animations make it a hell of a lot more stylish than maybe every newer title.

For all its faults, the MCU made me do it as you can probably tell with those #fourcomics that made me fall in love with comics at the time.

Path of Radiance Chapter 8 - Despair and Hope Back to the exact map that made me a Fan of #FireEmblem. The one-two punch of story developments preceding it followed by the desperate defense of Gebal Castle is seared into my memory. To me personally it's the most iconic map in the series.

Finally! I know exactly what I'm gonna do this weekend. This game is an absolute gem, everybody should give it a shot.

A fun ride. I get the praise now. I might not need another Zelda game with a ticking clock ever again but I appreciate how intricately structured everything is. Not my favourite but I appreciate its existence.
