I was mounting some algae specimens and the collection manager found this tiny brittle star (correct me if I’m wrong!) 🥹 so cute but couldn’t stop thinking about this poor thing suffered in a dryer ;(

Love me some Peperomia leaf cross sections. Look at that chonky epidermis*! *I don't know off the top of my head if this succulent tissue is really derived from epidermis or ground tissue, but I always thought epi. Either way it's juicy.
