This is what the transition from ICE to BEV via PHEV looked like for private people. They're done now. Only a few cars in the Industry left. Please note how PHEV fell off a cliff at some point. That may be a systematic thing we could see elsewhere in the future, not sure yet.

Malaysia is switching so fast, there isn't even time for the Trailing 12 Months market split graph so catch up and show something interesting. Malaysia is fast guys ... real fast. They currently rank #5 on numerical speed in my Durations Table and #6 in 20% to 80% BEV time.

PHEV haven't really grown in Luxembourg in a while. Diesel is also a thing of the past, mostly because it's eaten by HEV and BEV.

Looks like 3 or so more years for PHEV before they start their drop in China. ICE is pretty much gone now. OEMs still trying to sell their ICE cars in China are doomed.

Due to popular demand I decided to produce a "what if" type of trajectory that does not include data from the start of COVID to the end of incentives in late 2023 in Germany. People thought this time frame skews everything and that the true trajectory would be more visible with this data removed.
