EEAS Dir. @egiaufreteu.bsky.social & EUSR for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue participated in the Foreign Ministers meeting of the Berlin Process in Belfast. They discussed the path towards the regional & 🇪🇺integration of the Western Balkans. Security & growth are priorities that we Europeans all share.

My message to the authorities in Belgrade is clear. I want to see Serbia advancing towards the EU. For that, political leaders must deliver the necessary reforms and clarify the strategic direction. This is best done by restoring trust and staying true to democratic principles.

Today at the AgriFair in Novi Sad, I cooked pasta Cacio & Pepe, visited 🇪🇺 MS stands & beneficiaries of 🇪🇺 support, including tasty Pirot cheese. The 🇪🇺 is the main partner of🇷🇸 in Agri sector. IPARD III has a 288 M€ just for Serbian farmers. Important it is timely delivered.

The end of Assad’s dictatorship is a positive and long-awaited development. It also shows the weakness of Assad’s backers, Russia and Iran. Our priority is to ensure security in the region. I will work with all the constructive partners, in Syria and in the region.
