This is super disappointing for a show I’ve loved to this point. The crumminess of AI art aside, this should have been a slam dunk way to celebrate Star Trek’s long, wonderful history of tie-in comics. Instead our grandkids have one more thing to rework in the remastered version come 2066.

This week's STARFLEET ACADEMY was not just a lot of fun. It was smart, respectable, surprising, tragic, and funny. What's more, it perfectly balanced fan service with an excellent close up on one of the new characters.

It was honor to have had the opportunity to work with John these past two years. His love for silent comedies -- particularly Laurel and Hardy -- was infectious and I'm very sorry to hear that he has left us.

In anticipation of the upcoming Blu-ray FOCUS ON LOUISE BROOKS, we’re sharing a newly restored clip from THE AMERICAN VENUS (1926). Featuring Brooks in her first substantial screen role, this rare surviving footage captures the early spark of an icon—radiant, witty, and unmistakably modern. 📽️

I really loved WONDER MAN, a story about how superhero movies are amazing, but maybe not quite as amazing as just having a friend.

Okay. I'm now allowed to tell you that WONDER MAN is fucking delightful and very weird. It's barely a superhero show. It is more inside baseball than I expected. There's an entire episode that's just about trying to find a place to self-tape an audition. I have no idea how it will land. I dig it.

SEND HELP is wonderful. SWEPT AWAY as secular horror with all the violence, gore, and slapstick you want from a Sam Raimi picture. I just wish we got these more often.

Does EDDINGTON's title come from the DS9 character (a security officer radicalized by current events), a common historical figure that influenced both, or is it just a coincidence?

I could use about $400 in sales by the 27th. This is the dead time of the year for me; there's often a small bump after Christmas as people spend their Christmas money, but if you're looking to pick up anything I sell, ordering in the next few days is _really_ handy and gets you shipped sooner.

Target's website is broken. It lets you place orders and charges you, but the order (and not the charge) immediately vanishes. I know mistakes happen, but if they have been happening consistently for 12 hours straight, why is Target still taking online orders with zero notification to customers?

Every order has now been packed and shipped, except for a small handful that will go out tomorrow, when we'll also be announcing our next title!
