A brief moment of terror boarding my second flight and being told that the pilot wants to ask me something. "Who do you think Sadie Spink is playing?!" Because I was wearing my HOMECOMING swag hoodie.

My family is celebrating Christmas late and tomorrow is a travel day for me. Is this enough of a temporal incursion to have to worry about langoliers? There is shockingly minimal information about langoliers on the TSA website.

Four different projects I worked on this year made it onto PopMatters' Best of 2025 list. It's particularly thrilling to be in such good company.

I could use about $400 in sales by the 27th. This is the dead time of the year for me; there's often a small bump after Christmas as people spend their Christmas money, but if you're looking to pick up anything I sell, ordering in the next few days is _really_ handy and gets you shipped sooner.

Target's website is broken. It lets you place orders and charges you, but the order (and not the charge) immediately vanishes. I know mistakes happen, but if they have been happening consistently for 12 hours straight, why is Target still taking online orders with zero notification to customers?

This film has been in development for THIRTEEN YEARS and doesn't appear to be even slightly the mix of performance capture and real world locations that Serkis originally described and said "works incredibly well"

If I was in Carol's position in PLUR1BUS, they would certainly send Jeri Ryan as 7 of 9 to explain the value in being part of a collective.

My previous lead fell through, so... Does anyone in Western Washington have an electric piano with weighted keys that they no longer use and would be willing to give away? I have a ten year old ADHD kid whose heart is set on one for Christmas but it's not in our budget this year.

Thank you everyone for making this Black Friday sale our biggest ever! We have had a genuine thrill packing orders and seeing which titles everyone picked. Every order has now been packed and shipped, except for a small handful that will go out tomorrow, when we'll also be announcing our next title!

STAR TREK: KHAN was great. My only complaint is that I kind of wanted George Takei's final STAR TREK line to remain, "The horsey's going to bite you now."

I only *just* learned that, in SPAWN, John Leguizamo's Clown says, "I say destroy the cosmos, ask questions later." I legitimately thought he was just being a weirdo going, "I say destroy the cosmos and Christian Slater."

Gentle reminder that in the late '50s, the U.S. government did not censor comics. Comics companies censored themselves. Not sure why that crossed my mind today but there it is...
