So, I was watching a smart lady do an informational video on the ways disease research is being compromised and an Over-Confident Man(TM) appears to say she's being dramatic. So, I say "Have fun with Hi-Path AI, buddy" and he says "I will if I ever use it." And basically, we are too stupid to live.

Foremost for me, today brought the realization that this was all one very small step forward and decades in the making. If you have been comfortable through those decades and you think you can be comfortable through the next four years with platitudes and self care then you are part of the problem.

I think it's fair for folks to be feeling their feelings today and recognizing that there are some very clear assertions being made by the worst people around us. But I also need white people to stop crying about how this is the end of American Democracy. When has America been a democracy? Grow up.
