Having some very mixed feelings about Christmas this year. This is the first year since 2001 that I'm not working at that 'murican postal place. This is the first holiday since 2013 that I'm not living by myself. No one really felt like doing a lot of decorating this year. (cont.)

This drink has rum, fresh squeezed lime, fresh(ish) pressed pineapple juice, ginger ale and a bit of simple to take the edge off. Very tasty! The pineapple juice is sold at Trader Joe's and it has a more full vegetal flavor and less sugar than the canned juice.

I believe that I would be much happier overall if I was small enough to sit in someone's lap comfortably.

Last night our inflatable polar bear decoration went on walk about. It roamed from our front yard to our backyard behind the shed. Not sure how it got to that spot unless a fox dragged it there. Sneaky holiday foxes! Stealin' mah dec'rations!

I have located a store in the area that has a very nice rum selection. I love agricoles, but they can be damn hard to find! Pretty soon I'm going to start stocking a tiki set with a good variety of rums and other spirits, as well as a good set of bar tools.

Currently crying over a specific memory of one of the few times my grandma looked after me. She worked part time at a laundromat and a couple times I got to go with her. It was a very specific adventure with so many specific details. I'm stuck there.

Ok, feeling a bit more puppy this week. I know I can't have my perfect Christmas, but I think I can have a pretty good one! This is actually the first December/Christmas that I haven't worked in over 20 years. It's honestly a bit strange.
