You cannot legislate trans people out of existence--as much as MTG and MAGA would like to think they can do that. We hurt no one, want no special rights (other than the rights everyone else enjoys), and simply want to be left alone. Why do Trump and his acolytes obsess over us? LEAVE US ALONE.

Instead, being transgender is REAL. It's how we got wired--just like how people get wired to be left handed or to have same sex attractions. Shutting down GAC simply means we're going to have a whole lot of depressed, suicide-prone kids. And trans women with masculine voices. We are real.

With last night's House vote on gender affirming care for trans kids/youth (GAC), and now the White House/DHS targeting any hospital that provides GAC, I've just got to say this: MAGA thinks that if they keep kids from transitioning, that somehow, magically, those kids won't be trans. Wrong!

Horrible for my community. Why can't they just leave us alone?
