The bravest thing I do on a regular basis is wear a white t-shirt.

Me: *takes one bite of dinner* My 4yo: I have to poop! Without fail, multiple times a week, this will happen. And then my meal is interrupted with having to clean him up.

If you’re wondering how parenting a toddler is going— We put our son’s treats in a vending machine that he has to earn. So idk.. good? (Help me. 3 year olds are mean af 😭)

Me: This year, when it’s your birthday, you’re going to be 4 years old! Do you know what that means? Kiddo: No. Me: It means you get to go to camp! Do you know what camp is? Kiddo: Yeah! Camp is about marshmallows!

My 2024 resolution was to learn how to crochet. I bought two kits from Woobles (Voldemort and a ginger bread man). My final project for the year is this beautiful blanket. 103 rows, 149 stitches per row, 3 border rounds. I’ve made countless things in between and now have a hobby I really love.

I’ve played tennis on/off for the past 20 years. I recently signed up for classes through my local parks and rec dept. Tonight is the first class and I’m so thankful for the distraction!

Parenting a toddler is missing them when they’re not around but being so annoyed at them when they are.
