A Man Called Ove. Read a year ago this month. Never gave it a proper shout but this was my book of the year and the most heartwarming introduction to an author in recent memory. Backman’s beauty, humor and heart, for me, is unmatched and it’s one of the few books I’d recommend to anyone. 1/x 📚💙 📚🖋️

Kindness, curiosity, acceptance, learning, and understanding are all elements in Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and the best libraries.

1/x Malazan 1. Gardens of the Moon The many characters are interesting but largely flat and ultimately not the most endearing. The plot is impressively creative but the seams of the story’s table-top RPG DNA show through and is somewhat distracting.
