Husband is trying to convince me to go to a concert tomorrow night but I don’t think I’m up for it. I don’t normally like to venture away from my Saturday night routine.

February wrap up 🌹 🎬🍿🥤 📚 I don’t normally put my ratings for the movies on here because I do that on Letterboxd but all four films were great!

The new hire has been bringing me candy every day now for weeks. I’ve told him nicely to stop. He won’t. Russian lady still brings me full dinners sometimes. Weird thing is she never brings him food, and he never brings her candy. I’m now starting to think they’re both trying to poison me.

Went out today to check out a hip new shop that opened in my old hood. It’s a clothing, book, and coffee shop. The thing that stood out was how the transplants put on a Californian “accent.” I truly believe that’s how we sound to them in their minds. It’s pretty awful.😵‍💫 Mr.E liked the records tho🙂

Had a horrible day at work today. I couldn’t wait to walk into our quiet home and warm myself up with a hot cup of cocoa. I’m finally unwinding and Mr. E decides to put on a loud Beastie Boys documentary. 😖😖

Went out to our Sunday coffee spot and these two bitches were standing so close behind me in line that I felt their breath in the back of my neck! I hope I infected them with all of my bad energy I’ve been carrying around today! 🤬

Today was exhausting. Decided to reward myself with a glass of vino in my fancy Tiffany wine glass. 😌

#LetterboxdFriday #Lastfourwatched A movie I knew nothing about and went in thinking it was a foreign film but wasn’t. A western I’ve known about since I was a kid but never had any desire to watch. A wonderful documentary. A beautiful film that should have gotten a theatrical release.

I told Mr. Evans that I was having trouble with the book I’m currently reading. It’s too dark and it’s giving me nightmares. He told me to stop reading it and read one of his books instead. He goes to the other room and comes back with a thick ass book on Winston Churchill. 😒

He surprised me with my favorite pizza tonight. ❤️🥹

#letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched A 10 year long tv series that ended with a movie. A brilliant Korean film that I just cannot believe got snubbed by the Academy. A book I enjoyed but the mini series not so much. A great concert film we started watching on Plex and finished on Tubi. 🤔

The new hire asked me what kind of music I listen to. I said I like lots of different stuff. He said “you look like you like Michael Buble.” WTH?! 😒 Guess who’s on my shit list now?!

Still at work and the girl I just spoke to said she can only come to her dental appointments on Sunday evenings from now on.
