As October is upon us we’ll be starting the annual Harry Potterthon

No real plans today due to the weather. Will no doubt Zwift this morning but might be a bit windy for a stroll. Will probably spend most of the day chilling with Sara and George 😊

Had a lovely evening out with @barryh71.bsky.social last night, dinner at our local pizza express then to see Private Lives at the Mercury theatre, first Noel Coward play I’ve seen, it was very good 😊

It's 1982, in Leiden, in the Netherlands, and Freddie Mercury is about to board a train to Amsterdam where he'll have a nice cup of tea and an early night. Or perhaps not.

With 50 mph wind gusts forecast and roads that will be wet and covered in crap after 24 hours of rain I’ve decided to skip tomorrows club cycle ride. Genuinely surprised it hasn’t been cancelled on safety grounds. Gutted though as I’ve not been out with them for ages 🚴‍♂️

Woke up to news that the #RedSox are out of the play offs. Not a huge shock given the injuries we’ve had but always gutting to lose to that lot. Hopefully we can take the winter to recover and strengthen ready for next season.

It’s my weekend already as I’m rest day today and annual leave tomorrow 👍
