My thoughts for what they are worth on the new GBR livery. There seems to be plenty of mixed feelings about it and still not 100% sure what to think. It’s certainly pretty striking and can see why it’s getting so many mixed opinions.

Was a bit late arriving at Peterborough after following something from Soham. Ended up leaving 4 mins late but managed to recover it and get back to Colchester a couple of mins early after a good run back.

The reason I’ve got today off is because we are off to see #TheCharlatans at the Roundhouse tonight. Been looking forward to this for a while. No support, just two sets by them. Should be awesome 😊

Reflections - Finchley Central One of the benefits of UK's yearly rainy season is puddle hunting. I'm always on the lookout for unique compositions in puddles. I was very happy with this view at Finchley Central London Underground station.

Plans before work are mainly chilling but will try and get out for a short run as well as a walk with Sara 😊

Back to work today after a couple of weeks or so off. Working 12:55 to 22:09 today, nice job. Pass to Orient Way then empty to Liverpool Street and in service to Colchester for a break. Second half is London again then Harwich International and pass home.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

Slipped out for a 10 mile run in the rain this morning. 5 easy miles and then another 5 around Marathon pace. Felt pretty good 🏃‍➡️

Last day of my two weeks off today. Will be spending the day with Sara and George but will also pop out for a run 😊
