Doctors spend a few years being low paid and then go on to incredibly lucrative careers, often bolstered by wealthy families. Nurses, Nursing Associates and HCAs spend entire careers and therefore lives working very hard with stagnant wages. Doctors are mostly privileged.

Another amazing thing about music that I love is the idea of ‘deep listening’, which equates to ‘actually listening to music’, but is sold as snake oil by ‘experts’.

I love how there’s this huge cult around the Grateful Dead and they’re just this incredibly average bar blues band. There’s a great little portrait of humanity in that.
