I am having so much fun with my new storage server. I’m ripping my blu-rays to the server so I have my own personal streaming service and the movies play in original blu-ray quality. So much better than Netflix etc.

My own personal streaming service is shaping up nicely! These are all blu-ray backups I can watch through the Plex app.

I’ve been poisoned by Netflix and other streaming services for too long! Ripping my blu-ray movies to my hard drive and watching them through Plex has opened my eyes. Picture and sound are SUPERIOR with physical media. So excited I’m down this rabbit hole.

I picked up an internal blu-ray drive and an external enclosure so I can hook it up to my PC. I backed up some of my movies to my hard drive. Now I can watch through Plex and make my own little streaming service for my home!! I’m obsessed!
