The problem is that the remedy for these things usually is for the benefit of the Defendant: sanction the state, exclude evidence, cautionary jury instruction, dismiss the case. ~ Intentional? Popok on today’s hearing & filings, raising serious questions about contaminated/missing evidence, etc.

NEW: The Atlantic reports Greg Bovino has been REMOVED from his role as Border Patrol “Commander at Large” and will return to his former job in El Centro, California, where he is expected to retire soon. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and “adviser” Corey Lewandowski are at risk of losing their jobs.

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years. These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.
