I know it's never happened before for the Game Awards, but I am beginning to think that 2 indie games might get nominated for GOTY. Hades II and Silksong just have that much quality/name recognition to pull it off. Hopefully, Geoff recognizes this.

I don't play Pokemon games, and I don't have any interest in either of these games. But Palfarm looks like somebody dropped their Pokemon toys all over somebody's backyard garden in a GTA game. Pokopia's art style is so much more appealing, despite how derivative it is.

This is how we're getting Switch 2 music for the foreseeable future. Don't expect full soundtracks for a few years, maybe even until the next console gen. Still, the compilation playlists could be fun to guess which tracks we get.

Feels like the first real investment in 3rd party titles for the GBA Classics app. Honestly, the argument for the Sonic Advance games on this app just went way in plausibility.

I'm not pressed about new amiibo prices if only because even big Nintendo fans aren't buying for MSRP and a lot of online places seem willing to discount them to get stock off shelves. All the new Zelda amiibo are currently $20 on Amazon/Gamestop, DK Bananza one will probably go on sale too soon.

So apparently all that talk about the Pokémon Company putting a patent in for summoning monsters was almost entirely bogus. Yes, they did put a patent in place based around capturing and summoning monsters but it only covers direct copy or plagiarism of Pokémon's structure/combat and the code.

Need Nintendo to update the N64 app to work with 64DD games so that the Switch 2's NSO additions can finish the trilogy of "embracing our financial failures".

Just know if you hated the announcement of Virtual Boy coming to NSO in the Direct, you're gonna be even more upset when these happen
