Bsky, we can't lean into a future where regulating social media means blanket rules that enforce unwanted censorship. The responsibility needs to be on the creator to label, and on the consumer to filter out the unwanted based on it. Not on gradually eliminating more and more content altogether.

The way people cannot essentially self-moderate, lack the sanity and critical thinking to do so, and instead go beyond their ways to blatantly censor or simply act so entitled and butthurt over the work of creatives is honestly disturbing.

Bsky has been amazing to use, but one thing I haven't been able to re-create is a private account space. We had a very cozy little AD/vent circle going on with my mutuals and it would be sad to lose that.

Reminder that sexual expression in the arts is absolutely normal and human across time and all cultures. Sex is how we all got here, and the arts are how we express our living experiences. There is nothing immoral about it, and it should never be criminalized.
