I have absolutely no energy and I feel like I'm constantly slacking as a result. I'm not, though. I'm doing plenty. It's just there's so much that needs doing.

When we were at risk of being eaten, we needed the whole group (society) to act in-line with the norm. Outliers attract attention and attention is dangerous to survival. We're not at risk anymore.

We do understand that, yes? People who talk about curing autism are generally people who are uncomfortable with autistic behaviour. Rather than seek to comfort an autistic person who is struggling, they're seeking to soothe themselves.

We actually do not need to "cure" #autism. We could instead give some energy to finding a cure for the neurotypical need to understand behaviour in order to feel comfortable with it.

I'm in a place in my life where the thought of using hard drugs isn't even remotely appealing to me. That's a miracle, given my history. And that's not dependent upon availability or whatnot. I am not interested. Not tempted. Even so, it's not cool to ask me if I can hook you up. Don't do that.

Not me, trying to use the bathroom in peace while a child chatters incessantly, looking for engagement about everything he's doing.

I have to bargain with myself sometimes. I know I need to scrub the shower. It's been bugging me for days but not motivating me. I told myself I could rest my incredibly sore hips in this bathtub but ONLY IF I scrub the shower when I have my shower afterward.

What's so bad about hedonism anyway?

Someone posted about chemtrails yesterday and four people answered her about poison skies and cloud seeding. I, believing this to be the universe I come from, made a tin foil hat comment. I was not aware we now know chemtrails are, in fact, very real and confirmed 👌 I was told to read up.

I doubt I'd notice if God took the righteous because that's never been my crew. Business as usual.

I like paying my rent early because there's zero anxiety involved in handing it over the second I have it. Then it's done and I don't have to think about it again for more than a month. It is my little gift to myself. It doesn't make me less money anxious but at least priority 1 is good.

There's a lot on my mind and a lot to process and I feel outright heartbroken but none of that is going to take me out. I have a job to do.

Everything was fine until I noticed that someone laced my son's shoe up too tight to slip on and my hands are super sore and don't work properly and the meltdown began. That was at 8:30am and I proceeded to cry for the majority of the morning and now I am quite exhausted.
