been doing a blind playthrough of ff3. i find the game's 'forced' class change mechanics annoying, so i decided to outplay them, sticking with classes that suit my characters instead here we see geomancer's earthen bell para'ing targets preventing the use of "divide"~ also a knight's protect set up

(Photosensitivity warning) In FFII, if a spell fails, the game just says "Ineffective" and moves on. But if it's blocked by Wall, the spell's entire animation plays, followed by "Magic blocked." For Toad, this means showing the enemy turning into a little toad, and removing it from the battle. . .

Now that I've played Prodigal, my new favourite character is Revulan, the feared leader of an anti-royalist shadow government who lounges on a throne and kills you with lightning if you talk to her three times whilst infiltrating her evil lair. She's just like me, for real, I feel. ❤

Very excited for this one. ❤ Colorgrave games are rock-solid, with the free-wheeling creative spirit of Treasure-esque "situation rush" games, lovingly written characters and world-building, exquisite music and pixel art... You name it. Probably my fave indie developer making things these days.
