Got my Crohn's dx 10 years ago today (after asking the doctor to add a colonoscopy onto a follow-up gastroscopy) and it's tough to comprehend how much has changed since. I barely have memories of the first time I was sick (December '15 - May '16), it's a 6 month blur with an occasional event.

Finally got around to it and I appreciate that the U2 EP is bad in interesting ways, as opposed to both* Songs Of _ albums which were bad in boring ways. *I do not acknowledge Songs of Surrender as a canonical studio album and did not listen to it so I don't know if it was interesting-bad or not.

Friday 5x5: started to go back and listen to the big albums of 2016 for their 10th anniversary because that's the year I listened to the least music from ~2003-2025 (I was sick for most of it/not listening to anything)

I can't make it to Prince George today for the early listening/release event but I don't think I can come up with a theoretical album more made for me than "Ratboys' Narrow Stairs"
