#birdoftheday: owl The Estate Biodiversity Team are celebrating a barn owl bonanza! We have three confirmed breeding pairs over a 1.5km area, with 11 chicks ringed. Four were weighed, measured and ringed today (Friday) by Jimmi, a licensed ringer from Raptor Aid, so we can ID them in future. 🌍🧪🦇

Tomorrow (Friday 13th June) at 11:00am is the official opening of the new Dragonfly sculpture by the old dipping platform. To allow for civic guests and others attending to be able to park the overflow area of the #CountessofChesterCountryPark car park will locked from 7:00pm this evening.
