It’s finally beginning to take shape. Been following these vids since the start, this is the stage I was looking forward to the most. Not entirely sure how it’s gonna look but based on the passion Oliver has and the cars he’s inspired by, it’s gonna look great.

These proportions make it cute, gives it a sense of character.

So many words have been said about the Ferrari Luce, so I decided to shed some pixels instead. I think maybe the issue with this car (other than the unobtanium price & mediocre range) is that it's just the wrong brand. I photoshopped it as a VW Passat and I think it makes more sense. #EV #cardesign

To the best of my knowledge, the Ford 021C was the last time a designer associated with Apple was Marc Newson in 1999 (prior to joining Apple). He now works with Jony Ive, I can see some similar elements to the Luce, like the recessed and inset rear lights. It’s one of my fave concept cars.

Still not sure about the Luce, reckon I might need to sleep on it.

To me it’s odd that folks (predominately in the US) deem it as odd to back into a parking space. For me it’s second nature, it was part of learning to drive and I‘ve worked at locations where it‘s policy to do so. Although if I do have the opportunity to drive from one spot into another, I will.

Algorithms on YT & IG really are a dark art, a short vid I filmed for a friend’s account has had about 520 or so views on YT after a couple of days. Yet same footage was posted to IG and got about 52k views in a day.
