Looking more into the origins of the cyberpunk genre, I found a fantastic story from 10 years before cyberpunk became a thing that I'd never heard of — and learned that I'd probably never heard of it because of the patriarchy.

One not-so-secret reason behind my cyberpunk series is that it forces me to finally read a bunch of books I never gotten around to. And, like this week, books I've never heard of that I ended up loving.

This happening at a Valnet owned site is proof that games media cannot continue to exist with 0 mentorship, editorial oversight, general education for new writers. No writer assigned a review should not understand what an "embargo" is and how to uphold it. This is just as much on their editor.
