Similar vibe for making content for the TCGs I like. I think there's not enough paper gameplay channels out there for anything that isn't fucking Commander. If I could rely on my play group to ever want to meet up i'd have no problem dropping the money on all the gear i'd need for the setup.

As much as I'm dooming about these precons it's just because I want PEN to be so good and they're currently pointing to PEN being not that. I'm just trying to cope T-T

So. They either intend for these precons to be upgraded with PEN cards. Which means the "$20 ticket" line is a lie. Or there really is no juice, no spice, no substance to PEN, and the precons are the vibe we can expect with it. I think I'd prefer the former in that case...

Seeing these SAGE precons has me thinking that LSS were lying when they said their internal testing of SAGE had a way different meta than the current pre-PEN SAGE meta... You can pretty much build those precons right now needing to sub 0-4 cards in most cases Disappointing in all honesty...
