Please stop setting `width: 100vw` on the `body`. It's unnecessary. By default, the `body` stretches horizontally as much as necessary. It's problematic. Setting `width: 100vw` on it can cause overflow even if you remove the default `margin`... because the page may have a scrollbar. #CSS

Is the Bluesky android app really buggy or is it my phone? Half the time I click on a post or a picture, it won't open. Especially when it's on a notification. The other half that works is usually because I restarted the app. The web experience is considerably smoother (even on mobile).

Just received feedback from my Commit Your Code '25 talk, and the results and comments are positive and encouraging. I was nervous about presenting in person (I'm self-conscious about my body and overweight), but the experience turned out really well. I may try to do more of these in the future.

One thing that amazes me about AI is the dissonance between public and private talk about it. Publicly, AI is accepted and pushed into everything: most tech conferences are AI dominated and employers push for its use... At the same time, and this may be anecdotal, developers raise concerns privately

What is a good place to look for conferences and CFP? (especially web technologies) I usually look at Sessionize.com (too generic?) or cfp.watch (with a more European focus?) Mastodon and Twitter (not visiting much there) is/were good, and more active than Bluesky for that.
