My 1st experience working in science was at UNAVCO, an #NSF funded geosciences org. now part of @earthscope.org. So much technical knowledge I use in my neuroscience (!) lab was from that early experience. My PhD was then funded by #NSFGRFP. Ending NSF funding will devastate careers and innovation.

hi, cis folks! if we *are* going to talk ACA, RFK's HHS proposed a rule to remove *all trans care* from ACA essential health benefit status. ~25mil people are insured by ACA & if 1% are trans, that's 250,000 people who'd lose access to care. that's bad! take 2 minutes to stand with trans people.🧵

What this administration is teaching Universities is that even if you comply - punish students for protests, ban masks, remove DEI from websites and classes - they will still defund you and try to break you apart. Basically, there is no point in complying.
