A muscle’s contractile history influences its subsequent performance. Doesn’t always have to be negative. We can use potentiating mechanisms in clinical practice to overcome inhibition, or augment RFD & Power-based rehab👍🏻

These types of statements, in published papers really really annoy me 😡 Reader led to believe that break tests are associated with ⬆️ risks of injuries & these papers evidence it They don’t ! ‘Throw away’ statements like this can have a profound impact. Authors & reviewers please do better
