#csm183 #chainsawman I don’t know why, but it really made me sad to see how Fujimoto didn’t even show the faces of the people Denji loved, almost as if the memories were so traumatic that Denji had to forget those faces so he could keep going. (I put the warning tags so people could avoid spoilers)

#csm183 #chainsawman I love how Denji expresses his will to keep on living in his own weird way. I think that’s the main theme of Chainsaw Man: as tough as life is, it’s worth living, no matter what. We saw this in Denji in Part 1 after he lost everything he loved, and we see it in Asa in Part 2.

The Substance is so good I can't get over it. You wanna see a horror movie that actually says something about aging as a woman (directed by a woman) and does so with a real, palpable understanding of film language this is the REAL SHIT.

On paper #THEPENGUIN is everything that’s wrong with superhero entertainment these days. A spin-off featuring a backstory of a tertiary character. The kind of thing I normally wouldn’t watch these days. But Reeves/Farrell were enough for me to pull the trigger & showrunners made something special.
