The someone she’s quoting is an old school MRA from the Roosh V forums who wrote a book called “Do the Philippines: How to Make Love with Filipino Girls in the Philippines.”

One thing I wrote about here is how technology has made buses *way* more convenient while techno-futurists were obsessed with flying taxis and self-driving cars.

I’m just annoyed here because leaving the framing aside, this is flatly incorrect—$600 can get you ridiculously nice boots or ridiculously overpriced ones, but it cannot get you “luxury“ boots.
