I read through "This Book is All Elite: The Inside Story of All Elite Wrestling" in a single day. It's not an exceptionally long read, but it's fun from beginning to end. The photography is stunning. Don't expect controversy or dirt in the book. It's a celebration of the promotion's beginnings.

When I met David Arquette a few weeks ago, I had no idea about his lifelong love of Bozo the Clown. He loves the character so much that he purchased the rights to it. Somehow, that makes me an even bigger fan of Arquette.

A bit belated, but wishing a very happy birthday to the Hardcore Legend himself: Mick Foley! Here's a pic of when we got to meet him back in 2024!

Sad news. I obviously enjoyed him in Buffy, but also his roles in Repo! The Genetic Opera, and as Uther Pendragon in Merlin, as well as his albums like Music for Elevators.

Currently playing "Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club." As you might imagine, the difficulty level is not particularly high, but it's so fun and beautiful to look at that it doesn't matter. I love the deluxe edition because of bonuses like the ability to collect classic comic strips.

It's a pity that Disney Adventures stopped publishing. There was something indescribably awesome about getting my copy in the mail. I still have a lot of the copies I got way back in the early 90s.

I sat down and read Zawa and the Belly of the Beast by @thewoodenking.bsky.social and LOVED it. Zawa's a great character, and impossible not to fall in love with. The artwork pops on every page. If you love comics, you should love this.

We hit up Texas Frightmare over the weekend. Met some amazing horror icons like Tom Savini, Linnea Quigley, Skeet Ulrich, Joe Dante, and Ed Neal, to name just a few.

The sheer number of times I said, "I love wrestling!" during the Stadium Stampede match last night. I don't think I stopped smiling from the moment it started until the end.

Finally diving into a comic book series I've been dying to read for ages: Archie Vs. Predator. I just finished issue #1, and it's just as delightfully bonkers as I'd hoped.

We've been watching Kaya-chan Isn't Scary, and it's such a delightful and spooky series. The perfect balance of spooky and kawaii. We've only got 2 episodes left and then we'll be left sitting and waiting for a new season...

If you haven't played this game, you need to play it ASAP. It's awesome. Perfect for fans of retro gaming and incredibly complemented by Kochalka's awesome art.

I know it's pretty niche, but boy, do I wish the Gargoyles from the classic Disney series had a presence at the Disney Parks. I've got no idea where they would fit, but imagine an immersive Gargoyles land where you could meet Goliath, Desdemona, Brooklyn, and more.

Absolutely love this article. Watching it at home with soda, pizza rolls, and cocktail franks sounds like the next best thing to a drive-in theater. If you can't do either, The Retroist does an incredible job of letting you experience it vicariously.

Watching Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc. It's as awesome as I was hoping.

Looking back through pictures, and as excited as I am for the new Central America part of Animal Kingdom, I already miss the glorious tackiness Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama.

Props to Iowa Western, who played a great game and defeated UCO tonight. This was our son's first year on Varsity, and he and the team made it all the way to the quarter finals of the Nationals competition. My wife and I couldn't be any prouder of him and the rest of the team.

Discovering this way late, but I just started watching the animated Netflix series The Dragon Prince and I'm LOVING it so far.
