Let’s talk about the grandma, who was going to retire this year, but can’t now, because her health insurance premium went up by $200 and she needs to pay it in order to continue getting her insulin prescription filled, so diabetes doesn’t kill her. She will never be able to retire now.

Let’s talk about the eight year old little girl, who has a rare blood disorder and needs weekly blood transfusions. The last week of 2025 was her last transfusion. Her parents can’t afford to pay her health insurance premium anymore after it doubled on Jan 1st 2026. She will not survive for long.

Let’s talk about the fifty year old father who’s battling stage three lung cancer and is now getting his affairs in order for his upcoming death, since he had to stop chemo, because he can’t afford to pay for the treatment without Health Insurance. Republicans voted for his death sentence.

Let’s talk about the young woman, pregnant with her first child, who doesn’t know how she’s going to pay for her baby’s birth and hospital stay, because she lost her health insurance, because the Republicans didn’t renew the ACA subsidies. But “Pro Life”, right?!
