I have a very strong, gate-kept identity around the hatman. He is me, I am him. He has been a personal aesthetic of mine for ages since I learned of him. He’s such a niche folklore that why would anyone use him as an aesthetic? And so I did. And he is me! I’m the hatman :-D

I’ve never really found my aesthetic, It’s always changing. It goes from cute bright colors, to grim and gothic, hell even 90s futurism or skate wear. But I think my one true aesthetic will end up being warm and soft. Like a crisp apple pie, or an antique clock, or a fall-themed knitted blanket.

I don’t miss being poor, but I sometimes miss being rural. I miss the acres of fields I would pass by each day I went to school, I miss the rustic look of the shops I went to, or the sole train track that would pass through town. I like this city, but I also like the rural town I once called home.

Last night, I forgot the sun is starting to set earlier. The route back home is very forested and dark, and my phone was at 1% so I couldn’t use my flashlight. By sheer luck though, the moon was at its fullest and I could walk to the bridge back to my neighborhood. Her light guides me to safety.
