It was a truly inspiring event for a really important cause. We lose more than just ‘subjects’ when all the creative subjects are sidelined, they provide lifelong skills in so many ways.

The UK has one of the highest retirement ages in the world, the lowest pension in Europe, some of the longest working hours in Europe, one of the lowest minimum wages, the highest energy costs, the biggest profits, and the lowest taxes for the richest. It all needs to change.

I've just started listening to this book and it is really very interesting. Highly recommend it. It highlights how a rise in poor mental health in young people is linked closely to the rise in smartphones & 24 hr connectivity while also looking at how parenting approaches have changed since the 90s.
