🛒 Delighted to officially open the new Morrisons Daily at the Kingfisher Centre today! 🟢🟡 This long-awaited addition brings more choice, convenience and jobs to the heart of Redditch. Operated by Veysi Bayar and Zaydan Trading, it’s great to see Morrisons investing in our town centre.

On World Stroke Day, I called for urgent action to improve stroke prevention, rehabilitation and recovery. With nearly 2,000 stroke survivors in Redditch and the Villages, access to vital therapies like physio, occupational and speech therapy remains far too low.

Thank you to everyone that has been in touch about my joint call with council leaders to reinstate a police counter in Redditch town centre. To show the strength of support from our community for this call, I have started a petition. Please sign and share with your friends and family!

As the Member of Parliament for Redditch and the Villages, I was honoured to place a cross in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance. This simple act of remembrance is a moment to pause and reflect on the courage and sacrifice of all those who have given their lives in the service of others.

Proud to back the urgent national call for a targeted prostate cancer screening programme. Prostate cancer is England’s most common cancer - yet it’s the only major one without a national screening plan.

It was a privilege to join Macmillan’s 35th annual Coffee Morning in Parliament, standing with people living with cancer and calling for fairer, more personalised care across the UK. ☕

It was inspiring to visit Redditch Nightstop and see their vital work supporting young people at risk of homelessness. Since 1997, they’ve provided emergency accommodation and holistic support to help people build independent lives - changing futures across Redditch.

The Renters’ Rights Act is now law - a historic step delivering the biggest boost to renters’ protections in a generation. It ends no-fault evictions, strengthens enforcement and ensures fairer, safer homes where tenants can challenge poor conditions without fear.

Great to visit CSDB Ltd - a world-leading business based right here in Redditch, supplying event and exhibition expertise to some of the biggest global brands.

Big news for families in Redditch & the Villages! Working with Bridget Phillipson, I’ve secured £210,519 to deliver Best Start Family Hub services in Worcestershire by April 2026 - part of this Government’s plan to give every child the best start in life.

This week I’m wearing this pin for Baby Loss Awareness Week to remember the 13 babies who die every day in the UK before, during or shortly after birth - too many of them preventable. 2025 marks the end of the national goal to halve stillbirths & neonatal deaths but we’ve fallen short.

This week, I was proud to meet with Ambassador Husam Zomlot, Head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK. Recognition of Palestine is a long overdue step. It sends a clear message that the Government is serious about supporting peace, justice and security for both Palestinians and Israelis.

Met Industry Minister Chris McDonald on the serious JLR cyber attack that’s halted global production & hit local supply chains. I’m working with businesses & unions to ensure Govt action - our priority must be protecting workers & families as we get the sector moving again.
