In the News 📰 Visited Southcrest Woodland with the Woodland Trust to highlight why protecting Redditch's ancient woodlands matters. These vital habitats face real threats - restoring them is key for wildlife, our climate and future generations.

This week, I was proud to meet with Ambassador Husam Zomlot, Head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK. Recognition of Palestine is a long overdue step. It sends a clear message that the Government is serious about supporting peace, justice and security for both Palestinians and Israelis.

Joined West Midlands & Merseyside MPs in writing to the Business Secretary on the JLR shutdown. With 200k supply chain jobs at risk, Govt must act fast - whether through loans, targeted furlough or other support - to protect workers, businesses & our vital automotive industry.

Met Industry Minister Chris McDonald on the serious JLR cyber attack that’s halted global production & hit local supply chains. I’m working with businesses & unions to ensure Govt action - our priority must be protecting workers & families as we get the sector moving again.

🏦 Delighted to open Redditch’s newly refurbished Nationwide branch! At a time when many banks are closing, their promise to keep branches open until 2028 is a huge boost - supporting face-to-face banking and funding dementia support & money lessons.

Huge thanks to the Kerala Cultural Association for hosting a brilliant Health & Wellness event. Nearly 100 families accessed free checks & vital support from Macmillan, Healthwatch & more—community spirit, early detection & wellbeing at its best!

✂️ Honoured to officially open the Winyates Post Office at Winyates Centre! Huge thanks to Saumya & Raj for their investment in this modern, refurbished branch - open daily 7.30am - 10pm with full banking & retail services.

Met with Simon Trickett, CEO of Herefordshire & Worcestershire ICB, to press for urgent improvements in Redditch healthcare. I pushed for a new neighbourhood health centre, faster GP access & vital upgrades at Elgar House - and will keep holding NHS leaders to account.

I’ve joined 36 cross-party MPs demanding urgent action on the DES scandal - a pregnancy drug linked to cancer & infertility, given for decades despite known risks. Families in Redditch have suffered in silence too long. The Government must apologise, train NHS staff & give victims support.

🌟 Over 7 million MORE GP appointments this year – a record 383 million in total – with 2,000 extra GPs hired. This Government is ending the 8am scramble, cutting waits & bringing back the family doctor so you get care closer to home. 🚑
