Hounds killed on roads. Collisions. Trespass. Livestock worried. Pets attacked. Wildlife chased. This is not ‘trail’ hunting. If hunts were following trails, this chaos wouldn’t be happening. Banning trail hunting would close loopholes and hold those who kill wild animals to account.

It’s been 20 years since hunting wild mammals with dogs was banned, yet illegal hunting is still rising. This season alone: 601 incidents of hunt havoc, a 16% increase in suspected illegal hunting, 211 foxes chased, dozens of trespass cases. It’s #TimeForChange in 2026.

This year, a consultation will be launched that could finally see the end of hunting wild animals with dogs for sport in the UK. When that happens, it will be very important that you join in....

Hunting with dogs was outlawed in 2004, but hunts quickly learned to exploit loopholes that allow this cruelty to continue. The hunt did not stop. It simply hid behind a smokescreen.
