Gotta (somehow) love these 'pie in the sky' airline startups. Like AIRIDEA, from Italy but operated by Dutch AIS. They plan flights from Genoa to 11 destinations, 3 of which don't have any scheduled operations yet. With 19-seaters, a 65% load and somehow profitability within the year. #AvGeek

I'm used to seeing airfares that are 'suspiciously' low and the whole discussion that follows on places like FlyerTalk. But this is something else: a 17 hour ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo for the princely sum of 0. And yes that includes a (basic) cabin. And yes, it's bookable - for several dates.

Lufthansa Group announced it'll install Elon Musk's Starlink Wi-Fi across its *entire* fleet. Notably, this isn't just for Lufthansa or the big core LHG airlines. It's a deal for ~850 aircraft across the entire group, even Air Dolomiti. Installs begin later this year, done by 2029.

Brussels Airlines will roll out free WiFi across entire fleet, powered by Starlink.

Booked on the special (and most of all direct) Christmas train to Aachen. Apparently, there has been a schedule change by Infrabel making for a later arrival. Which is all fine by me, but I wonder what kind of detour we're going to be on between Antwerp and Lier to make that a 53 minute journey 😲
