Try thinking in packages when you cube. 1st-pick Strip Mine is great in aggro, but there's much cooler things you can do it! You can recur it and want more lands in general (Crucibles/Depths/Courser) Wheels are less symmetrical when your opponent has fewer lands (Narset/WoF/Leovold)

You can wholly commit to an archetype if your enablers and plan are flexible Here's a B03 trophy deck that actually is "Pure Reanimator" Against Aggro, I would side in the cards on the right because I wanted Zuran Orb and Sylvan Safekeeper, which suddenly made the whole lands package viable!

I'll be sharing cube tips this weekend As with "Pure" anything, "Pure Reanimator" is weak in a strong cube. Your discard outlets lean aggressive or controlling, and you want to pick accordingly for when your opponents bring in the hate pieces. Inti/Ivora and Lili/Frantic are different backup plans

Having a blast with this cube after 10 drafts, with 4 B03 trophies, 4 B01 trophies, and Mythic rank 18. Most everything works, but I don't think you can be aggro without a lot of cardflow or burn spells. @fireshoes.bsky.social here's some of my trophy lists if you want to see what works!

So a lot of Air Traffic Controllers are calling in sick, and I was thinking it might be cool of us to start a fund for them. They might be sick a long time and we could help them out for a bit, maybe until this government shutdown is over. Even if it means Repubs can't fly until they pass a budget.

Finally watching S3 of Squid Game and its weird how much everyone wants to kill this baby. I get that nobody wants to protect this baby, but literally 90% of these players are pro-baby death. I get the societal commentary but there's such a strong stance of "the baby has been born so let's kill it"

I'll be visiting family in Ohio from October 2-12th, so I won't be able to stream during this time. I'm having one more stream tomorrow before I go, and some announcements on my new content direction as soon as I return!

Posting this one more time- I found a few more sources for survey-takers so I'll close this out this week and start collecting survey responses from the likes! If you know a #magicthegathering content family who you want to see play then tag them or lmk, I think I can run this two-four times.

Happy Birthday! I have lots of favorites but this one is special because we love each other It was always there for me: I'm the only person to top 8 with it, I have 5 major top 8s with it, and I briefly caused it to spike from $0.25 to $50
