I don’t have LC but I have ME/CFS. Overnight I went from hours-long stage & parade performance, riding a bike as transportation, deckhanding in the Gulf of Mexico to unable to be upright for more than a few minutes at a time. I loved my active life. It’s physiology, not belief. I’m so tired of this.

I love the moment you just decide to not do something you hate doing. A few years ago I realized I hate making vectorized art. I haaaate it. Fiddling with the nodes and all that, it just removes ALL of the fun from making art for me. So I just.. stopped. And I’m happier for it.

For months, Puerto Ricans in the North and Metropolitan regions have been going through a months-long water crisis, the product of mismanagement and politicization done by the pro-annexation PNP party (chiefly). These are the colonial realities we live in Puerto Rico. They cannot be whitewashed.

There is a country in the Caribbean that is currently undergoing a severe water crisis, adding to an already collapsing electric infrastructure. And I am not talking about Cuba, but about the Puerto Rican archipelago--a colony of the United States.

What I call the cookie or the egg: are all the cookies gone because I ate them quickly? ORRrrrr did I *have to* eat them all quickly because they were going to disappear? Either way, my favorite rebellious Monday morning breakfast ☕️🍪 Also first batch of this season’s BMC Mail Drop is on its way!

Of all the movement therapies I’ve practiced over the last couple decades, the years I spent in Alexander Technique has been the most valuable to me. Being able to release muscle tension when my disabled body is bracing and spasming is SUCH A GIFT. Anyone know any AT practitioners in PR?
