Well this is a real monkey's paw situation for my perennial wish that we would stop doing the Daylight Savings Time jumps.

I used to do the 12-hour drive from Chicago, IL, to Athens, GA, at least once a month when I was dating my first wife. We also did a road trip from Athens to Tempe, AZ, which is easily the longest one-off road trip I've ever done. Over 24 hours driving each way.
