We sometimes joke that Congress/ the companies do weird or shady stuff to see if we are awake and paying attention. Turns out, we are.

I am calling on @icegov.bsky.social Director Todd Lyons to immediately confirm or deny the existence of a “domestic terrorist” database. If true, you’re violating the Constitution. If not, maybe talk to your “border czar” to get your stories straight. This isn’t a game–it’s the Constitution.

It's Giving Tuesday, and thus, I ask for your support. EFF is actually grassroots funded, which is awesome, because that means I get to lobby on behalf of internet users, not internet companies. It's one of the reasons this job is the best. But we do still need money to do stuff, like go to DC.
