It's been kinda fun in some ways to have these kind of teenage girl experiences post-surgery. The last couple weeks I've been on a journey to figure out what kind of menstrual pads I like (U by Kotex may be a winner) and it's honestly been kind of affirming!

I didn't expect to feel so gooey post-op. Can't say that goo was at the forefront of my mind when imagining what things would be like after surgery.

Having a hard time with post-surgery maintenance today. Feeling depressed. I'm so lucky to have this surgery but it also feels like a punishment I have to endure because I wasn't born cis

Pussy looks really cute already despite swelling and redness! A lot more defined than other women I've seen even a couple weeks down the line! I think all the walking I did helped!

Still hasn't fully hit that I have a vagina now, every time a nurse or doctor mentions it, I'm like:

My hair is kind of in one big knot post-surgery from being under the hair cap and then being generally bunched up under my head for a day or so

It's settled for me!! Oh my god oh my god oh my god it's actually happening, when I wake up we're going to be in the single digits for days left!!

Two weeks until bottom surgery!!!! Get hype for pussy time!!!

I was talking today about how when I first came out of dormancy, I didn't want to be around at all for a while, in part because all the trauma was still fresh, and I was trying to think about what made me okay fronting more, and I think it's that I got good at finding things to live for.

It's so lovely to have friends!!
